Start a Hand-washing Revolution

Proper hand-washing is like a “do-it-yourself” prevention method that everyone can do to fight against the spread of enterovirus.  Remember that the use of antibacterial gels or cleansers DO NOT fight against the enterovirus and good hand hygiene can be your best protection.

The five steps to simple and effective hand-washing are:

  1. Thoroughly wet hands with clean water
  2. Use soap to lather in hands
  3. Scrub hands thoroughly
  4. Rinse hands from lather and soap residue
  5. Dry hands with clean cloth or paper, then properly dispose of used product
